1/20/2007.  Well another year and another Post Holiday Party for the Tejas Chapter has come and gone.  The event, gifts and food was great!  Had fun eating German Sausage, beer and listening to music.  THe coming year proves to be more exciting as OktoberFEST comes back to Texas at Fort Worth.  Then the ZSCCA will be hosting their Annual Spring Drive to the Hill Country in April and then Labor Day has the Homecoming event.  I will again host and plan the Shakespear Drive in August.  Check back both here and on the Tejas Chapter Website for details.  Stay safe and see out on the road!

8/04/06.  Winedale Tour this past July 29 (Sat). What an EVENT!!! 26 cars, one train, one museum, one country kitchen, one playhouse and one flat tire makes for a great time!  Check out the photos in my
Photo Journel to see what you missed and also view the Tejas Chapter's photos from everyone else.  THis was sponsered by the BMWCCA and co-sponsered by the ZSCCA.

7/29/06  On July 29 (Sat). join me with the BMWCCA Tejas Chapter and the ZSCCA to this driving event called the Tour to Winedale.  We start our trip at San Marcos and drive through the country side; while making our way to the Sterling McCall Car Museum.  After touring the museum, we will then head for good ol' country dinner in Winedale.  We will then finish the day with a Shakespeare play called "The Two Gentlemen of Verona."  This is a very long day long event.  The sign up page will be hosted by the BMWCCA Tejas Chapter.  The costs and times for each activity will be stated.

7/30/05  The BMWCCA Tejas Wine & Tour Drive.  August 20 @ 8:30am, we head out to Becker's Vineyard.  This event is a great time try some local wines and maybe see some bats at night.  Hope to see you there.

7/30/05  The BMWCCA Tejas Concours / Clean Car.  September 17 at the BMW Center of San Antonio, between 11am to 4pm.  Come to judge or be judged on how clean that car is.

6/4/2005
Well I am #23, the ZSCCA annual Homecoming sign up has started and I am heading back to the Carolinas for fun and seeing old friends.  Hope to see you there.  I will have a webpage set up for directions and times of my departure, I plan to go with a group of friends from Texas.

5/30/2005  The annual Terry Sayther's Technical Session, sponsered by our own BMWCCA Tejas chapter is set for June 18.  Sign up to have your car looked over by one of the country's best of wrenchers of our wonderful cars.

4/30/2005  The Fun Rally directions' were correct.  :)  Cindy and I finished without opening the "Emergency Envolope"  The rally was fun, though one of our member's car's took in some water into his engine, during a real water crossing.  He hadd to flatbed the car back to Austin.  The resturant that we are was okay.  I will post my photos soon.

4/23/2005  The 3rd annual Blue Bonnet Bi-way drive was great.  It was as great day for a drive, even though the Blue Bonnets were scarce this year.  However the lunch at the Blue Bonnet Cafe was killer!  I will post my photos soon.

4/19/2005  The 9th annual Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Drive for a Cure took place at San Antonio, Tx.  After a year's absence, the Drive came back to the S.A. area and I helped out by transporting a 645 Ci from Corpus Cristi to S.A.  I will post my photos soon.

4/1/2005  The 8th Annual ZSCCA Texas Hill Country Drive was another great success.  Once again Fred and the gang, put on a great event and this time no one got lost - -at least that is what I heard.  I will post my photos soon.

2/13/2005  The new Tejas Roadster Club logo is rolled out, with the computer graphic help from Robert Cordova.

6/26/2004  The annual
PEACHES AND BATS went about 75% well.  The downer was the missing or not able to see bats, flying out of the Old Tunnel.  Anyways, check out the photos.

4/25/2004  Well the 2nd annual
BLUEBONNET BI-WAY (3Bs) went well this past April 24.  Check out the photos!

1/23/2004, 3/1/2004 & April 17, 2004:
The 7th Annual Z3/Z4 Spring Drive in the Texas Hill County - April 2, 3 & 4.   (Click onto the hyplerlink to get you to the website).  It was a great sucess, with river crossings, turn arounds and generation of a new Kerrville Loop!.  It started again Kerrville, TX.   Friday night was dinner at the Golf Resort's restaurant; Saturday's drive took us past Medina Lake then on towards Castroville for lunch at Sammy's, then towards Utopia area and back to Kerrville. Sunday's drive was North towards the Blanco area and finally end in Wimberley for Lunch.  Thanks goes out to Fred Reinemeyer, John Swann and yours truly.  Our intentions was to have something for everyone, slow driving, fast driving, wonderful sites and even shopping.  See you next year!

1/3/2004 Happy New Year everyone, time for the year ending or year begining party for our local BMW CCA club (Tejas!).  Click on to the Tejas logo on top to get the details and timing.  Hope to see everyone in the San Antonio area.

11/1/2003 The Oktoberfest has come and gone.  Yours truely scored 2nd in the Hand Made model contest with my Williams/BMW Formula-1 LEGO racer.  And even snagged a trophy in the Michein Tire Autocross.  Click onto the TEJAS Chapter to check out the photos.

9/14/2003 The annual Oktoberfest for the BMWCCA to be held in my backyard, well about 2 hours away in Austin.  Check out the link and hope to see and meet new friends there!

5/31/2003
The Sister Creek Vineyard Drive will be held by Rose and Dave Gumaer.  Hope to see you there!

4/19/2003  The FIRST ANNUAL BMW Bluebonnet Bi-way (B3 or B-cubed)  Was  held by Wayne and Kathy Eltringham.  For this was their first drive that they organized, and what can I say, they did a GREAT JOB.  I can not wait until next year's drive.
Check out my photos.

4/4, 5 & 6/2003  The 6th Annual Z-Series CCA Spring Drive into the Hill Country in Texas was a great success.  About 30 cars showed, including a Z4 and a Maserati convertable.  It was a clear day and everyone had fun.
Check out my photos and hope that Cindy and I get to see you at next year's gathering!

1/29/2003 Well the official Z3 Spring Drive in the Texas Hill Country is set for April 5 & 6.  Detail and routes are being planned as I write this.  So keep your ear to the ground at the various BMW messageboards (Roadfly, BimmerFourms, Caronostra, BimmerFest, etc.).  Hope to see you there!

1/2/2003 Brian's TEXAS Hill Country Ride being put together at this time.  This is not the same Annual Hill Country Drive that is done by the BMWCCA or Z3CCA.  But, it is no means any less exciting.  I will try to make this drive to see how more of the Texan back roads are.  This will be a good opportunity for me to learn my way around and at the least gauge the routes that may be used for the "Official Hill Country Drive - AKA Spring Drive"

12/06/2002  Nathan Fong was announced to be the area representitive for the San Antonio Texas area.  The main factor why I wanted to be the area representitive, was that the closest reps were in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas.  I felt that there was enough Z3s and Z4s and other BMWs that San Antonio could maintain a small gathering.  I plan to get road trips together with conjunction with our other area reps and BMW clubs, like in Houston and Austin.  These trips will include the Hill Country, the Gulf and possibly Mexico (but not too far into Mexico), Mexican roads are not too forgiving for Butt Strutted cars or super low suspended cars.
I do hope to get a gathering together for the upcoming Oktoberfest 2003 in Austin & Houston!
If time allows and the moving of prior commitments, I might be able to get a group together to head to the Homecoming 2003, we will see.
