ALL ROADSTERS DRIVE AT Da-GAP 2001
aka: DRAGON, DRAGON TAIL, DEALS' GAP, etc.
BMW 318 That hit the side of the mountain side.  Communicated to owner, the damage was not too bad.  He stated that the car should be back on the road by the end of May.  He will then save some money to replace the damaged body facias at a later date.

BTW, his friend with the motorcycle road racing bike that took a spill, still has not riden the bike since that April afternoon.  Otherwise he is fine.
My friend David or Charlotte NC, took out a baby Copperhead snake, during a run at Deal's Gap.

No not really, he did it in the parking lot of the Topoca Resort .

BTW, the snake was very dead when these photos were taken.
The thing that everyone hears about, but never thought that I would see or even be present, a Miata lost control and almost went over the side of the mountain road on Friday afternoon.  This occured just over the TN/NC border on the TN side.  There were two persons at the time.  Neither were hurt, just stunned and amazed that they had stopped.

A local, who helped tow the car out, stopped and also went out of his way to get a semi-tow rope.  It really was a tie down.

Anyways with the help of him and all other drivers at the All-Roadster drive, they were able to pull the Miata out of it balancing act.

Afterwards it was found that a very large rock might of played a part of keeping the Miata from totally going over the edge.

BTW, the Miata was not damaged at all, it only needed a good underbody washing.  The owner was able to driver her away and like any other person who loves to drive.  Did a Gap run the rest of the weekend.  You go guy!!!
One4Fun's (Bill, I don't need no stinking supercharger) fun of trying to repair his power steering pump.

Sitting are two Z3 owners (David of Charlotte & David of Southern Pines) just hanging watching a Miata guy having to fix his car.

Of course yours truely taking the photos.

BTW, Bill was able to fix it the next day.
Matt's Multimedia Miata - DVD / CD & I do need a stinking SUPERCHARGER!!!

Conducting a demo, way cool!
BAR NONE THE BEST LICENSE PLATE
"NO TORQ"

Unfortunately, the car developed problems and the owner was not able to drive that weekend.  He left that Saturday morning?
